This painting is a that of The Hill at Bag-End, home of one B. Baggins and later that of F. Baggins and then S. Gamgee.

This painting is titled Frodo and Gandalf and is featured as April in the 1993 Tolkien calendar and is present in Tolkien's World.

Gandalf has visited Frodo at Bag-End to discuss certain things of interest to both of them. In particular, it appears that Frodo's funny little ring is one of the great rings of power. In fact, the One Ring which rules them all.

"He [Gandalf] was smoking in silence, for Frodo was sitting still, deep in thought. Even in the light of morning he felt the dark shadow of the tidings that Gandalf had brought." -- The Fellowship of the Ring

This painting shows part of the trip that the hobbits made from Bag-End to Frodo's new home on which they were met by Nazgul. Gildor Inglorion and his company of elves arrive and frighten them off.

This painting would be The Prancing Pony in Bree. While leaving the Shire, F. Baggins, using the name Underhill, stops and The Prancing Pony, when an unexpected disappearance occurs.

This painting is titled The Dark Riders and is featured as December in the 1993 Tolkien calendar. The Dark Riders have been searching for the Baggins with the Ring for some time.

This painting is of Luthien Tinuviel. Her parents are Melian the Maia, Queen of the Grey-elves, and Kin Thingol. She faded from the world when she took mortal Beren, son of Barahir. The fate of Luthien and Beren are tied up with the the fate of the Silmarils.

And in the glade a light was seen

Tinuviel was dancing there

While in the company of Strider, Frodo, Merry and Pippen meet three trolls from the past.

This painting is titled Rivendell and is featured as July in the 1993 Tolkien calendar. This is where Elrond lives and where the Last Homely House east of the Sea and west of the mountains is located. B. Baggins and F. Baggins spent time on several occasions here.

After losing to the anger of the mountain, the Fellowship of the Ring must travel through Moria.

Holly was the token of the people of the land, and they planted it here to mark the end of their domain; for the West-door was made chiefly for their use in their traffic with the Lords of Moria. As guests in the Golden Wood, Sam and Frodo look into the Galadriel's mirror to what they will.

Frodo goes off by himself to think.

In this painting, one would suspect that this is Gandalf and a hobbit before a King. It could not be Theoden, as the hobbits did not meet Theoden in his hall, therefore, it must be Gandalf and Pippin before Denethor. Note that Gandalf is holding the two halves of Boromir's horn.
