A movie about what happens after the final episode of a series.
Ryo Hibiki, Anice Farm and Chuck Sweager are all borgman. That is, they are cyborgs, and are thought to be the only ones around. The days of the Borgman Project are over for them, and they now try to lead as normal a life as possible.
However, peace is not to be. Someone is making more cyborgs. This someone turns out to be a former member of the team that created the three borgman. His name is Hidaka and he feels that in order for mankind to survive the technology curve it must merge with machines. The end result of this "superman" concept is a huge monster cyborg and the only ones who can defeat it are the "retired" borgman.
This is an odd movie. It is clearly about what happened after a series was over. A little strange. Also, con footage is also included on the tape with all the Japanese voice actors singing songs from the series and the movie.

More Borgman After.
There are only three "borgman", that is, cyborgs, in the world, Ryo, Anice and Chuck. Indeed, it seems that there will never be any more, as the persons who worked on these three have died.
The events surrounding the death of Memory, one of the scientists who worked on the Borgman project, haunts Ryo. He is not able to sleep well and starts to have trouble with his cyborg parts.
However, Ryo mental troubles are not quite his own making. Ryo is being manipulated by undead forces. He must not only conquer his own fears but the undead nasties.
Sonic Soldier Borgman - Lover's Rain, is another story in the continuing adventures of the last persons in the Borgman Project. The animation quality is not great, but is also not terrible.
