A Wind named Amnesia

One day, a wind swept over the entire Earth, and everyone lost their memory.

Two years later, a young man named Wataru, who has managed to relearn some of the things that those around him have forgotten, journeys with a beautiful girl named Sophia [who does not seem to have this memory lose] across the U.S. to learn the nature of mankind. Featured, as well, is a runaway mecha who wants Wataru dead.

A Wind named Amnesia is the story of this journey.

This is a pretty neat story, and is one of my favorite.
