Demons are alive and well, and apparently living in computers [in C code, to be specific] and on the Internet. They still require, however, some person or other being to inhabit. They also require magnetite, or the life force of humans, which allows them to change their form and regenerate themselves.
This time the demons aim is to resurrect President Ose, a skyscraper sized cat like demon. Helping them is a high school student named Akito Kobayashi. For their schemes to succeed, the demons need to capture and kill Saki Yagami, who has a very strong magnetite force. In addition, they also must capture and kill Kojiro Soma, who is the living incarnate of Masakado Taira, the guardian spirit of that region of Japan.
Against the demons are a couple of spiritual ninjas, Marika Kusaka and Takehiko Kuki. A couple more high school students.
In then end, Tokyo Revelation has a very similar story to Doomed Megalopolis. To a lesser degree it also seems similar an adult version of Ushio & Tora, maybe Baoh. Having seen all of those made the story a little predictable, in places. The animation quality is pretty good, however.
