There are a lot of demon hunter brand anime. Devil Hunter Yohko is very much like the rest, but it is still pretty good.

Well, in Yohkos case, until she finds out that she is the 108th generation of devil hunter and there actually was a purpose to her commando grandmother's behavior at the breakfast table. Yohko would be more then happy just to be normal [naturally].
The series is everything one excepts from such a series [see Blue Seed or Devilman for other examples]... complete, later on, with a very long sword of her very own, a manager and an assistant. Even if it is a little canned, I have a hard time faulting this series.
The good persons at The Right Stuf International seem to indicate that the fourth volume in this series has a MTV sorta feel to it and not much new animation. Thus, I didn't feel a compelling reason to pick it up.
